Hospital Schemes These schemes are organised for children that are in hospital receiving treatment. For many children hospital can be a stressful and upsetting time especially if it means being away from their families. Surprisingly there are only a small amount of specialised paediatric renal wards across the UK so for some children they are quite a distance from home. Our aim is to offer fun and enjoyable activities wherever possible (All parties are based on 10-15 children).
	Ł500 - Ł1000	Day trip - Group sponsor of 5-10 children
	Ł150	Christmas Hospital Party
	Ł100 - Ł150	Seasonal days - Easter, Valentines etc
	Ł100	Entertainers - Face painters, Magicians, Balloon artists
	Ł75	Cinema Days - DVD's & Treats
	Ł50	Tea Parties / Teddy Bears' Picnics
	Ł50	Day Trip - Child Sponsor
	Ł30	Distraction Toys - Help with invasive procedures
	Ł25 -Ł50	Ward Toys - To help educate and stimulate play
Family Based Sponsorships These are offered to the family as the child is at home. These are extremely important as they help in two areas, helping a family spend time together or by helping to ease the workload at home (due to the child's illness).
	Ł500 - Ł1000	Post Transplant care (especially if a parent was the donor)
	Ł250 - Ł500	Educational Support ( especially laptops as these can be used in hospital)
	Ł200 - Ł50	Family time (weekend breaks and day trips)
	Ł200 - Ł300	White goods (most commonly washing machines and tumble dryers
	Ł100 - Ł250	Emergency hospital costs (visiting costs for parents)
	Ł100 - Ł200	Dialysis storage solutions (most commonly sheds)
	Ł100	Clothing and/or bedding
	Ł50 - Ł100	Toys or specialist equipment for a child (toddler prams etc)
